Furnace construction

Based on the license purchase agreement, BTRexp received the exclusive right to build VMR furnaces on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania and Bulgaria.

The complete furnace is a static unit consisting of two horizontally placed chambers with retorts made of special heat-resistant material.

Chambers contain:

High-quality thermo-resistant substructure,

Flame holes made of high-quality heat-resistant material,

Advanced system for transferring gases from wood

Insulation part

Temperature reading control panels

Each furnace is supplied with 10 vessels in which the wood is changed and in which the carbonization process takes place. The volume of each vessel, measured by the amount of water, is about 4.7 m3.

The dimensions of one furnace are 8mx4m. The height of the furnace is 4m and the chimney is 7m high.

The total weight of one furnace is about 120t

Approximate time for building one furnace is about 2 months.
